Luke Baker has been Principal Bassist of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra since 2000,
and a member of the Albany Symphony bass section since 1987. He also has extensive
experience playing both upright and electric bass in many theater productions. His
major teachers include Joseph Guastafeste, former Principal Bassist of the Chicago
Symphony and Lawrence Wolfe, Assistant Principal of the Boston Symphony. In addition
to 小福利导航, he has also taught bass at Keene State College in Keene, NH, College
of St. Rose in Albany, NY and Williams College in Williamstown, MA.
He lives in Albany, NY, with his wife and their cat. He enjoys gardening, travel,
hiking, backgammon and cooking.
