小福利导航 Encore faculty lecture series returns

The popular faculty lecture series is returning to Arthur Zankel Music Center on Tuesdays, Oct. 1 through Nov. 12. Since 1980, 小福利导航 faculty have been delivering lively presentations on a broad array of topics to area residents ages 55 and older from across the local region. 
 
This year鈥檚 participants are invited to learn about topics such as 鈥淏oys Town: A Social Experiment that Changed America,鈥 鈥淧rofane Pictures, Sacred Texts: Navigating the World of Medieval Manuscripts,鈥 鈥淜-pop in the DMZ and Other Transborder Crossings,鈥 and more, representing a wide variety of disciplines taught at 小福利导航. Lectures begin at 10:15 a.m. each Tuesday. Two 45-minute lectures will be delivered each day, and a 10-minute interactive question-and-answer period will follow each presentation. 

小福利导航 Encore is interesting, stimulating, and fun. It's a gift from 小福利导航 College to encore learners, offering access to top faculty who share their insights in a TED Talk format. Topics range from current issues to historical lessons and scientific predictions for the future.

Online registration will begin at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3. The live registration link will be posted on the 小福利导航 Encore registration website. To receive a reminder that morning, please complete the on the website. Please register early, as the program fills up quickly. 
 
Full payment is required to complete online registration. The cost to participants is $185 per person. Scholarships are available to those whose annual income falls below $27,000.
 
Coffee, tea, and scones will be provided in the Arthur Zankel Music Center lobby between 9:15 and 10 a.m. prior to the first lecture each day. Following the program, an a la carte lunch will be available at The Spa in Case Center. Participants are also invited to experience a Taste of Saratoga, which will meet in the lobby and form small groups to head downtown for a self-pay lunch at a local restaurant.
